Reporting Overview

MONTON provides several built-in reports for tracking team performance, project progress, and resource utilization. The reporting system is designed for ADMIN and MANAGER users to gain insights into organizational performance.

Available Reports

Report Access

Navigation to reports:

  • Reporting menu: Navigate to Reporting in the sidebar
  • Reports section: Access Reports for additional report options

Role-Based Access

Permission levels:

  • ADMIN: Access to all reports including Project P&L
  • MANAGER: Access to most reports except Project P&L
  • CONTRIBUTOR: Access to Time Report and Timesheet Report only
  • GUEST: No access to reporting features

Time and Attendance Reports

Time Report

Location: Reporting > Time Report Purpose: Analyze time tracking data across projects and team members Features:

  • View time entries by date range
  • Filter by team member, project, or client
  • Analyze time distribution and patterns
  • Export time data for further analysis

Timesheet Report

Location: Reporting > Timesheet Report Purpose: Track timesheet submission and approval status Features:

  • Monitor timesheet submission compliance
  • Track approval workflow status
  • Identify late or missing timesheets
  • Review timesheet approval patterns

Resource Management Reports

Utilization Report

Location: Reporting > Utilization Purpose: Analyze team resource utilization and capacity Features:

  • View team member utilization rates
  • Identify over or under-utilized resources
  • Track billable vs non-billable time
  • Plan resource allocation

Assignation Report

Location: Reporting > Assignation Purpose: Track project and task assignments across the organization Features:

  • View current project assignments

Resourcing Report

Project P&L Report (ADMIN Only)

Location: Reporting > Project P&L Purpose: Analyze project profitability and financial performance Features:

  • View project revenue and costs

Using Reports

Accessing Reports

Basic report access:

  1. Navigate to Reporting in the sidebar
  2. Select the desired report type
  3. Configure report parameters (date range, filters, etc.)
  4. Generate and view the report
